In March, I participated in the Bookish Swifties Club Readathon and was on Team White Rabbit, which meant I could only read fantasy, nonfiction, historical fiction, or general fiction books unless I had a wild card, which meant that my reads this month look dramatically different than they normally do. I wound up having a really lovely time, although I am relieved to be back to normal and able to read whatever I want. (I say this despite the fact that so far, all I’ve read in April is Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson…) Anyway, this was a successful month of reads and I’m excited to share those with you! After March’s recap, you’ll see my April TBR so let’s get started!

April TBR

In April, I’m participating in the Spring Equinox session of the Orillium Magical Readathon created by Book Roast, which is my favorite readathon to participate in. I’m feeling indecisive about which career path I want to study this semester so I’m trying for both Star Whisperer and Thread Mage, which means I need to read ten things. So this first section are eight of those things. The other two are that I need to read Legend of Dia, which is a short world-building article that Book Roast created and then any book I want where I fill out a Prediction Bingo before I start the book, which will be fun!

And then we also have the ARCs I have for April…

And then of course, the books I cannot wait to read that come out in April and I wasn’t fortunate enough to receive ARCs for:

In other words… I have a lot of reading to do. I guess I better get to it.
Closing Thoughts
March was a really good reading month, both numerically and quality wise. I’m really hoping that April at least maintains the quality level because the beginning of the year was a bit of a mixed bag for me. What books are you looking forward to reading in April? What was your favorite read of March?
xx

This made me laugh because my partner finished Mistborn a couple of months ago, took a short break, and is now deep into the Stormlight Archive. We picked up book 3 from the library this morning!

I skipped Mistborn even though I think that’s the recommended reading order… But I can’t stop now. Lolol
