At what point of reading less than 20 books a month does it become not a reading slump, but a new type of reading habit? I’ve been reading significantly less in a month since October of last year and I really can’t figure out the cause. It definitely makes having as many ARCs as I did in February unfortunate because there was no way I was getting to all of them. Oh well. Let’s focus on what I did read in February, shall we?

Overall Thoughts
I really loved all the six books that I rated 4.5-5 stars and honestly the two I rated four. I’m having a good time still with Grace Callaway, even though I didn’t absolutely love either of the books I read from her this month. I read lots of these books as ARCs, so there are three posts where you can find my opinions in more detail that were published this month.
- ARC Reviews for A Crown This Cold & Heavy, What Feasts at Night, and Love Song for Ricki Wilde
- ARC Reviews for Not Your Crush’s Cauldron, The Friendship Study, and Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice
Still to come are ARC Reviews of Return of the Caribbean Heiress and How You Get the Girl. I’m working on reading and writing posts, I swear!
Also exciting is that I announced #SpringIntoLoveBingo last week on twitter. My sincere apologies for still not having the actual blog post up yet, but I am working on it. Slow and steady wins the race? Maybe? And I finished blacking out the board for #SnowInLoveBingo so that’s another post you can expect from me at some point.
March TBR

I only have three ARCs left to read during March, so I’m really hoping that I can get caught up with the ARCs that I have for the start of 2024, but…

I’ve joined two readathons, Realmathon and Team White Rabbit for the bookish Swiftie club March readathon. Because I’m on Team White Rabbit, I’m supposed to be reading fantasy, nonfiction, historical fiction, and general fiction, but not romance and, well, I’m certainly being challenged! Fortunately, that leaves fantasy romance left to me, but you may have noticed, I’m very much a contemporary romance girlie with a dash of other types of romance thrown in. It’s a good challenge, but I’m trying to only use my three contemporary ARCs for March and otherwise stick to what my team needs. So here are some of the books at the top of my TBR:

And then in terms of my nonfiction, historical fiction, and general fiction books, I’m hoping to get to The Cuban Heiress by Chanel Cleeton, Chronic by Rebecca Dimyan, Congratulations, the Best is Over by R. Eric Thomas, and Strong Female Character by Fern Brady, amongst many others. Please send your favorites of those types of books!
What are your reading plans for March? Let me know!
