Well November certainly went by quickly. Honestly, in some ways this year has been a blink and you’ll miss it type of year and at the same time, I’m like, “I went to Italy THIS year???” Time is odd. I appear to be in a bit of a reading slump. I have a whole host of books that I “want” to read, but also, I really just don’t want to read at the same time. I want to listen to the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) Vault Tracks on a loop and watch YouTube and Bachelor in Paradise and Golden Bachelor and really, just anything that isn’t reading. That said, I still read 12 books and for so many people, that probably sounds like a lot. But this is among my worst reading months of all time. But c’est la vie. There’s more to life than reading. That said, let’s talk about the twelve books I did read, shall we?

The good news is, I really enjoyed all of the books I read this month because if I wasn’t enjoying it, I just abandoned it without any real intention to do so.

Once again, I’ve been horrible at actually documenting everyone else’s posts this month because frankly, my mental health is not in the best of places, so please drop your favorites in the comments below.

Normally I just list all of the books that I have ARCs of and say, “I’ve got to read these books!” But my ARCs and I are on such wildly different sides of the planet that I don’t feel like doing that, so instead, I’m going to tell you some of the books that I just want to pick up.

Well, the good news is, one of those is an ARC! So that’s something. But mostly, my focus is on starting and finishing my ACOTAR reread so I can spend January re-reading Crescent City one and two before book three is released!
Closing Thoughts
How are you feeling knowing that 2023 is rapidly coming to a close? Are there reading goals you’re trying to finish or are you really just trying to survive? What are you looking forward to in December? Let me know!
