There are some really exciting books that are coming out this Spring. My list is literally 34 books long, so… there’s that. I’m going to spotlight ten of them as per usual and then have a very lengthy Honorable Mentions Gallery at the end. I hope you find something intriguing in here, but also that you’ll feel free to share the books you are most looking forward to in the comments!

Something Wild & Wonderful
by Anita Kelly
Goodreads Synopsis: Alexei Lebedev’s journey on the Pacific Crest Trail begins with a single snake. And it is angling for the hot stranger who seemed to have appeared out of thin air. Lex is prepared for rattlesnakes, blisters, and months of solitude. What he isn’t prepared for is Ben Caravalho. But somehow—on a 2,500-mile trail—Alexei keeps running into the outgoing and charismatic hiker with golden-brown eyes, again and again. It might be coincidence. Then again, maybe there’s a reason the trail keeps bringing them together . . .
Ben has made his fair share of bad decisions, and almost all of them involved beautiful men. And yet there’s something about the gorgeous and quietly nerdy Alexei that Ben can’t just walk away from. Surely a bad decision can’t be this cute and smart. And there are worse things than falling in love during the biggest adventure of your life. But when their plans for the future are turned upside down, Ben and Alexei begin to wonder if it’s possible to hold on to something this wild and wonderful.
Why I’m Excited: I really love Kelly’s writing and I really seem to love books about nature, even if I don’t actually love the being in nature part.

The Portrait of a Duchess
by Scarlett Peckham
Goodreads Synopsis: An activist painter of radicals and harlots, Cornelia Ludgate dismisses love and marriage as threats to freedom. But when an inheritance gives her the chance to fund the cause of women’s rights—on the condition she must wed—she is forced to reveal a secret: she’s already married. To a man she hasn’t seen for twenty years.
A horse breeder with a clandestine taste for revolution, Rafe Goodwood never expected to become a duke. But now that the title is his, he is plotting to shock the ruling class with ambitions of reform—and reveal the infamous Cornelia is his duchess. That just presents one problem: he must not fall in love with her—again.
Although determined not to sacrifice her principles for passion, Cornelia is still drawn to the man whose very being threatens her independence. Hurt too many times, Rafe can’t risk love again—especially with the woman who once shattered his heart. But a conspiracy to upend the inequalities of the aristocracy bring Cornelia and Rafe closer, forcing them to finally decide what—and who—they hold dear.
Why I’m Excited: It’s been way too long since I’ve read a new book from Peckham and her darker, grittier, angsty vibe is something I’m really in the mood for right now, I think. Plus, I’m going to pretend this is essentially marriage in trouble which is a favorite trope.

Hotel of Secrets by Diana Biller
Goodreads Synopsis: It’s ball season in Vienna, and Maria Wallner only wants one thing: to restore her family’s hotel, the Hotel Wallner, to its former glory. She’s not going to let anything get in her way – not her parents’ three-decade-long affair; not seemingly-random attacks by masked assassins; and especially not the broad-shouldered American foreign agent who’s saved her life two times already. No matter how luscious his mouth is.
Eli Whittaker also only wants one thing: to find out who is selling American secret codes across Europe, arrest them, and go home to his sensible life in Washington, DC. He has one lead – a letter the culprit sent from a Viennese hotel. But when he arrives in Vienna, he is immediately swept up into a chaotic whirlwind of balls, spies, waltzes, and beautiful hotelkeepers who seem to constantly find themselves in danger. He disapproves of all of it! But his disapproval is tested as he slowly falls deeper into the chaos – and as his attraction to said hotelkeeper grows.
Why I’m Excited: I’m legitimately obsessed with Biller’s writing, her characters, the world she brings to life. Just everything about this has me excited.

Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez
Goodreads Synopsis: Dr. Briana Ortiz’s life is seriously flatlining. Her divorce is just about finalized, her brother’s running out of time to find a kidney donor, and that promotion she wants? Oh, that’s probably going to the new man-doctor who’s already registering eighty-friggin’-seven on Briana’s “pain in my ass” scale. But just when all systems are set to hate, Dr. Jacob Maddox completely flips the game . . . by sending Briana a letter.
And it’s a really good letter. Like the kind that proves that Jacob isn’t actually Satan. Worse, he might be this fantastically funny and subversively likeable guy who’s terrible at first impressions. Because suddenly he and Bri are exchanging letters, sharing lunch dates in her “sob closet,” and discussing the merits of freakishly tiny horses. But when Jacob decides to give Briana the best gift imaginable—a kidney for her brother—she wonders just how she can resist this quietly sexy new doctor . . . especially when he calls in a favor she can’t refuse.
Why I’m Excited: My love of Part of Your World really took me aback because it was so unexpected. But since I loved it so much, I have a lot of hope and excitement for the next book in this companion series Jimenez is working on.

If Only You by Chloe Liese
Goodreads Synopsis (the part at the end): If Only You is a brother’s best friend, (fake) friends with benefits to friends to lovers romance about a bighearted, quietly fierce soccer star on the autism spectrum, and a thoroughly unprincipled, almost irredeemable hockey player who has celiac disease. Complete with an absurd level of mutual pining, meddling family and friends, and a spicy slow burn, this standalone is the sixth in a series of novels about a Swedish-American family of five brothers, two sisters, and their wild adventures as they each find happily ever after.
Why I’m Excited: It’s Ziggy’s book!!! And also, I’m always excited for a new Bergman Brothers book. I’m in love with this family and this series. I’m so excited!!

The Fiancée Farce
by Alexandria Bellefleur
Goodreads Synopsis: Tansy Adams’ greatest love is her family’s bookstore, passed down from her late father. But when it comes to actual romance… Tansy can’t get past the first chapter. Tired of her stepfamily’s questions about her love life, Tansy invents Gemma, a fake girlfriend inspired by the stunning cover model on a bestselling book. They’ll never actually meet, so what’s the harm in a little fib? Yet when real-life Gemma crosses Tansy’s path, her white lie nearly implodes.
Gemma van Dalen is a wild child, the outcast of her wealthy family, and now the latest heir to Van Dalen Publishing. But the title comes with one tiny condition: she must be married in order to inherit. When Gemma discovers a beautiful stranger has been pretending to date her for months, she decides to take the charade one step further—and announces their engagement.
Gemma needs a wife to meet the terms of her grandfather’s will and Tansy needs money to save her struggling bookstore. A marriage could be mutually beneficial, if they can fool everyone into thinking it’s a love match. Unexpected sparks fly as Tansy and Gemma play the role of affectionate fiancées, and suddenly the line between convenient arrangement and real feelings begins to blur. But the scheming Van Dalen family won’t give up the company without a fight, and Gemma and Tansy’s newfound happiness might get caught in the fallout…
Why I’m Excited: A) This is my favorite trope. B) The cover is really lovely. C) I really love Bellefleur’s writing even when she isn’t writing my favorite trope, so I have high hopes for this one!

Happy Place by Emily Henry
Goodreads Synopsis: Harriet and Wyn have been the perfect couple since they met in college—they go together like salt and pepper, honey and tea, lobster and rolls. Except, now—for reasons they’re still not discussing—they don’t.
They broke up six months ago. And still haven’t told their best friends.
Which is how they find themselves sharing the largest bedroom at the Maine cottage that has been their friend group’s yearly getaway for the last decade. Their annual respite from the world, where for one vibrant, blue week they leave behind their daily lives; have copious amounts of cheese, wine, and seafood; and soak up the salty coastal air with the people who understand them most.
Only this year, Harriet and Wyn are lying through their teeth while trying not to notice how desperately they still want each other. Because the cottage is for sale and this is the last week they’ll all have together in this place. They can’t stand to break their friends’ hearts, and so they’ll play their parts. Harriet will be the driven surgical resident who never starts a fight, and Wyn will be the laid-back charmer who never lets the cracks show. It’s a flawless plan (if you look at it from a great distance and through a pair of sunscreen-smeared sunglasses). After years of being in love, how hard can it be to fake it for one week…in front of those who know you best?
Why I’m Excited: I’ve five starred every Emily Henry adult romance and the synopsis of this one has me more excited than any of the others, so again, I’ve got really high expectations and every confidence she’ll deliver!

Alliance with his Stolen Heiress
by Lydia San Andres
Goodreads Synopsis: In distancing himself from his nefarious wealthy family, Julian Fuentes has gained a rebellious reputation. Still, he’s shocked when heiress Amalia Troncoso hires him to stage her kidnapping! Julian doesn’t mind masquerading as a bandit to help Amalia get her inheritance from her tyrannical uncle, or spending time with the bold heiress who’s captured his imagination. But will the truth that ties their families together prevent their alliance from becoming more?
Why I’m Excited: I really loved San Andres’ first book for Harlequin and again, love the cover, and have every expectation that I will love the content of this one too! I mean, that blurb? It’s everything.

Pas de Don’t by Chloe Angyal
Goodreads Synopsis: Heather Hays finally has everything she’s worked for—she’s a principal dancer at New York Ballet Theater, has the best friend a girl could ask for, and is engaged to her forever crush, fellow principal Jack Andersen. They’ve been dubbed “American ballet royalty” . . . but when Heather’s best friend Carly catches Jack with a corps ballet dancer, the castle comes crashing down. Determined to prove that she rose to the top on her own merits—and not, as the press has always implied, because of her relationship with Jack—she accepts a guest position from the only company that will hire her without him: the Australian National Ballet.
Marcus Campbell has had the most hellish year imaginable. He shredded his Achilles tendon during a performance, destroying any chance of his dad seeing him dance before lung cancer ended his life. He’s spent a year in physical therapy, getting his strength back and determined to honor his father’s memory by getting back on stage before he’s too old to dance anymore. Now Marcus’s boss wants him to play tour guide for the company’s new arrival.
When Marcus realizes who the new arrival is, and that she’s even more gorgeous in person than she is on the cover of Barre magazine, he also finds she’s opinionated and funny. And for Heather, Marcus is everything Jack wasn’t: kind, consistent, and interested in what she has to say. For once in her life, she wants to rebel a little. But Heather’s in Sydney to dance, and it’s not like she can act on her attraction: ANB has a strict no-dating policy, an anti-harassment measure that the reform-minded artistic director takes very seriously.
Why I’m Excited: The ballet, the forbidden nature of the romance, the fact that this book is set in Sydney… I’m just saying. This promises to be a very appealing read!

The Duchess Takes a Husband
by Harper St. George
Goodreads Synopsis: Despite her illustrious title, Camille, Duchess of Hereford, remains what she has always been—a pariah. Though her title means she’s technically accepted by London Society, the rebellious widow with her burgeoning interest in the suffrage movement and her American ways isn’t exactly high on every hostess’s guest list. But Camille starts to wonder if being an outcast is not without its perks when the tantalizing answer to her secret fear appears in the shape of Jacob Thorne, the illegitimate son of an earl and co-owner of London’s infamous Montague Club.
Jacob is used to making deals with his club members—he’s just not accustomed to them being beautiful women. Nor have the terms ever been so sweetly seductive as Camille’s shocking proposition. To finally buy his own club and gain the crucial backing of investors, Camille offers Jacob the respectability of a fake engagement with a duchess. In return, the tempting widow has one condition: she wants Jacob to show her if it’s possible for her to experience pleasure in bed.
The lure of such a bargain proves too delicious to resist, drawing the enterprising rogue and the wallflower duchess into a scandalous game and an even more dangerous gamble of the heart.
Why I’m Excited: I’ve been waiting for this book for what feels like forever and I am truly so, so excited for Camille to find her own HEA. She deserves it.

Closing Thoughts
After making this list, I’m even more excited to get to these books. Will I manage to read them all? Honestly, probably not. But still! I’m looking forward to reading as many as I can. If you had to choose what to prioritize from this list, what would top yours? Have you already read any of them? What else are you looking forward to?

So many great authors releasing this spring! I can’t wait for the Jimenez, Liese, and Perry books to release. I was lucky to get to read an ARC of Cleeton’s and it was fabulous!
