July – December Most Anticipated Reads

I know that I’ve been giving you all monthly TBRs that include New Releases on my radar, but I really feel like it’s nice to have the ten-ish books that I’m most excited about in the next six months in one post to share with you. I hope you don’t mind, but if you do, just skip this post! So for now, let’s just get started talking about the books I’m super excited about that are coming in the next six months!

Most Anticipated 2025 Releases

Atonement Sky by Nalini Singh

Synopsis: Justice-Psy Eleri Dias knows the end is near for her, her mind one step away from fatal psychic exposure. In the short time that remains, she is determined to atone for an act of omission that has haunted her for a long, cruel decade. But that decision not only means facing a powerful changeling wing leader, but also putting herself in the path of a serial killer.

Falcon wing leader Adam Garrett is fiercely protective of his family and his clan. After losing his parents as a teenager in a shocking act of malice, Adam has no forgiveness in him for the J-Psy who betrayed him, betrayed them, at the most painful moment of his life. But the evil that stalks his territory will allow him no respite, forcing him once more into contact with the J he has never been able to forget.

Everything that could’ve been between Eleri and Adam was lost years ago, a shimmering promise crushed. As they work to uncover a monster, the moment of reckoning looms ever closer. Soon, there may be no more time left for either atonement…or love…

Why I’m Excited: I love the Psy-Changeling series SO much. It genuinely doesn’t matter where we are, what setting we’re in, I’m obsessed with this series and these characters. And following a falcon? This will be exciting!

A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna

Synopsis: Sera Swan used to be one of the most powerful witches in Britain. Then she resurrected her great-aunt Jasmine from the (very recently) dead, lost most of her magic, befriended a semi-villainous talking fox, and was exiled from her Guild. Now she (slightly reluctantly and just a bit grumpily) helps her aunt run an enchanted inn in Lancashire, where she deals with her quirky guests’ shenanigans, tries to keep said talking fox in check, and longs for the future that seems lost to her. But then she finds out about an old spell that could hold the key to restoring her power…

Enter Luke Larsen, handsome and icy magical historian, who arrives on a dark winter evening and might just know how to unlock the spell’s secrets. Luke has absolutely no interest in getting involved in the madcap goings-on of the inn and is definitely not about to let a certain bewitching innkeeper past his walls, so no one is more surprised than he is when he agrees to help Sera with her spell. Worse, he might actually be thawing.

Running an inn, reclaiming lost magic, and staying one step ahead of the watchful Guild is a lot for anyone, but Sera Swan is about to discover that she doesn’t have to do it alone…and that the weird, wonderful family she’s made might be the best magic of all.

Why I’m Excited: I’ve talked about this book in one of these posts before because the release date for this one has been moved a couple of times. But essentially, I’m really looking forward to this one because of how much I loved Mandanna’s The Secret Society of Irregular Witches.

The Blonde Who Came in From the Cold by Ally Carter

Synopsis: Ten years ago, they joined the CIA.

Six years ago, he left the game.

Five years ago, they fell in love.

One year ago, she ran out into the cold with absolutely no intention of ever coming back.

And two minutes ago, they woke up, bloody and bruised and handcuffed together in the dark.

They don’t know where they are. They don’t know how they got there. And they have absolutely no idea who is after them or what this nameless, faceless villain wants.

The only thing that’s clear is that, after ten years of covers and chemistry, secrets and lies, these two rival spies have been sucked into their greatest mission yet, and now they’re going to have to team up to stay alive. (If they don’t kill each other first.)

Why I’m Excited: I’ve been desperately looking forward to this book since the very second I finished The Blonde Identity two years ago. I can’t wait to read this one!

Love Arranged by Lauren Asher

Synopsis: LORENZO
Five months. Two people “in love”. One fake relationship with an expiration date.
Sounds simple enough.
The problem is, Lily Muñoz and I have history.
So, when she volunteers to date me so I can improve my public image, I should say no.
Our past complicates everything, but since my future depends on her, I agree to her plan.
Faking it for the public is expected, but falling in love in private?
That isn’t part of our arrangement.

LILY
Using a dating app sounded like a great idea, up until I discovered Lorenzo Vittori was my match.
My sister’s boyfriend hates him. My mom is wary of him.
And me? I’ve spent the last year avoiding him.
But when my business is threatened, I’m forced into teaming up with Lorenzo to save it.
All I need to do is help him win the mayoral election, and he promises to protect my shop.
It doesn’t take me long to learn that I’m not cut out for fake relationships, but Lorenzo?
He isn’t capable of a real one.

Why I’m Excited: Lauren Asher’s books have been hit after hit for me so I can’t wait for this one. I’m hoping the magic continues. And y’all know I love a fake relationship.

Soul Searching by Lyla Sage

Synopsis: Collins Cartwright does not want to go home. Sweetwater Peak, Wyoming, was supposed to be in her rearview mirror, but when she finds out a developer is trying to buy her parents’ antique shop out from under them, she doesn’t have a choice—at least, that’s what she tells her family. They don’t need to know she’s lost her job and is out of money. Or that the ghosts that have always been her companions have recently gone silent.

But just because she’s returned home doesn’t mean she has to stay with her parents or crash on her twin sister’s couch. Lucky for her, the new-to-town upholsterer has a room for rent above his store. Unluckily, it is absolutely crawling with more ghosts who are freezing her out. And Collins hates being ignored.

Brady Cooper is absolutely and totally fine. Seriously, there’s no secret reason why he decided to uproot his life and suddenly move to Sweetwater Peak. He just needed a change of pace. At least, that’s what he tells himself. And everyone else.

When he agrees to let the elusive Collins Cartwright stay in his spare room, he doesn’t know that she’s absolutely bonkers—constantly talking to herself and having conversations with no one—or that she looked like that. But as they begin to get closer, the lines between them start to blur, leaving both of them—and the ghosts that have been pushing them together—wondering whether or not their temporary arrangement could be something more permanent.

Why I’m Excited: I loved every single book in Lyla Sage’s debut series and I’m super excited to follow her on this adventure into paranormal romance. I’m very excited for what promises to be a grand time.

As Alpha of the Northwest pack, Koen Alexander commands obedience. His authority is so absolute, only a fool would threaten his mate. It doesn’t matter if Serena doesn’t reciprocate his feelings, nothing will stop him from keeping her safe.

But power-hungry Vampyres and Weres are not the only threats chasing Serena. Sooner or later, her past is bound to catch up with her—and Koen might be the only thing standing between her and total annihilation…

Why I’m Excited: My obsession with Bride knows no bounds. And lately, I will follow Ali Hazelwood anywhere she wants to go.

Brimstone by Callie Hart

Synopsis – Just Kidding! I’m not actually going to share any part of this synopsis because I think you should read Quicksilver and fall in love like I did before you learn anything about this sequel.

Why I’m Excited: Quicksilver caught me off guard, yes, despite the hype, so to say that I’m looking forward to this sequel is really underselling my excitement level.

The Seven Rings by Nora Roberts

Synopsis: Since this is the third book in this trilogy, I’m just going to share with you the first paragraph –

Long ago, Arthur Poole built a grand house overlooking the turbulent ocean, in a Maine village that bore his name. Today, Sonya MacTavish lives in that house—a manor that has been cursed for generations. Within its walls, she has witnessed the deaths of seven brides and the thefts of seven wedding rings. And now, to break the curse and banish a malevolent spirit once and for all, a difficult task must be completed.

Why I’m Excited: I absolutely loved the first two books in this trilogy. Para-Nora’s are some of my favorites of her oeuvre. So I’m too excited for this final installment.
